Die Desert Hills Lodge liegt 35,9 km von den Bereichen Sossusvlei und Sesriem des Namib-Naukluft-Nationalparks entfernt. Eine 24-Stunden-Rezeption und ein Restaurant sind in der Unterkunft vorhanden. Das Personal ist wirklich super freundlich und total bemüht. Vom ersten Moment fühlt man sich wohl und willkommen. Auch spezielle Anfragen zu Ernährung wurden berücksichtigt. Ich kann die Unterkunft wirklich nur empfehlen. Sollten wir wieder nach mal nach Namibia reisen, ist der Stop dort absolut gesetzt :).

The location was wonderful. All rooms have an unobstructed view to the beautiful landscape. The common areas are spacious and beautiful and perfect for relaxation. The staff was tremendous. The food was top notch. We booked a guided Sossusvlei tour, and we felt incredibly lucky to have such a knowledgeable and service minded guide as Natangwe. He really made our experience mind blowing and fun. We considered doing a self drive, but are glad we decided to go on a guided tour. I went for a sunset horse ride as a total beginner. Thanks to the great horse trainer and TK who arranged the sunset experience (and the fact that I was the only one attending) this became another highlight of the stay. It is about 30 minutes from the gate. This turned out to be no problem at all.

Die We Kebi Safari Lodge liegt 88 km westlich vom Dorf Maltahöhe in der Region Hardap und bietet Ihnen eine Unterbringung an der Hauptstraße C19. this is the most amazing place I stayed in Africa so far. the food is great, the lodge is very pretty and the stuff is very helpful. you can see animals so close - it’s unbelievable.

Das Soft Adventure Camp liegt in einem Wüstenreservat zwischen Sesriem und Solitaire und bietet Chalet-Wohneinheiten für Naturliebhaber, nur 30 Fahrminuten vom Namib-Naukluft-Nationalpark entfernt. We really enjoyed our stay at this small family-run business. The brothers Kai and Sven as well as the rest of the staff work really hard to make this place a lovely experience for all guests. We were upgraded to a lodge room as the adventure camp tends to not be occupied during winter time. The food was incredibly good, we had 3 to 4-course meals every evening and a delicious breakfast with lots of options. The barbecue dinner outside was our favorite. We also did the Sossusvlei tour with Sven and highly recommend it, as well as the sundowner tour where we saw zebras, ostriches, jackals, oryx, warthogs and more. There are hikes you can do around the large property and waterholes where you can look out for some animals. At night, you get to see the milky way and stars as bright as day. It's enjoyably quiet and the attention we received from Kai and Sven and their colleagues is hard to come by in other places! We'd definitely stay here again :)

We stopped by a castle in the middle of the desert, without any booking, and immediately fell in love with this place. Everything is out of this world, cured with a lot of taste for detail. The rooms are spacious, comfy, well designed in harmony with the surrounding nature. The castle is made of stones from the rocks few hundred meters away. The food/chef are amazing and flexible (for vegetarians). Breakfast is out of this world. The view is breathtaking. We got a massage at the spa which was good value for money. Loved the vibe of the restaurant next to the swimming pool, again, great interior design with a lot of beautiful objects.
