Boasting garden views, Flying Ostrich Guesthouse & Self-catering Accommodation features accommodation with patio, around 4.1 km from Mariental Railway Station. Self catering cottage, no meals provided, cottage was large, 4 bedrooms, beds were comfy, A/C was working well, kitchen was ok, living room very comfy, couch and easy chairs. Location was great, next to B1 and close to Mariental. Hosts were very nice and friendly.

Set 34 km from Mariental Railway Station and offering barbecue facilities, Kalahari Anib Camping2Go features accommodation in Mariental. Amazing location, spending the night in the middle of the Kalahari in a tent (comfy tent). Quiet, beautiful scenerey around. It was possible to eat at the lodge, which was a tenminute stroll from the tent. Food was absolutely amazing, very friendly staff.

Camping spaces are very private with all the facilities you need, grill, shower, toilet, electric plugs etc. The sunset drive in the park is 100% recommended!!! Great way to start the experience in Namibia. We paid for the buffet dinner... no regrets!! Above and beyond our expectations.

Situated just 4 km from the Kalahari Desert, the Lapa Lange Game Lodge features game drives and wildlife encounters at its water hole. This place is paradise; you dine next to a waterhole, watching the animals. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and welcoming; we spent a wonderful time here and will definitely be back

The food was the best we have ever eaten at any hotel, lodge etc - it was absolutely outstanding! Fabulous, friendly, very well trained staff and magnificent rooms and the setting is one of the most beautiful you will ever find. We will definately be back.
