Set in large grounds by the dry Arebbusch River, Arebbusch Travel Lodge is 5 km from central Windhoek. There are outdoor pools with sun terraces, and free parking near the rooms. My second stay at Arebusch. I was given a room upgrade which was great. The staff were fantastic as usual. And the breakfast was top again.

Ater travelling for years through Namibia, we prefer now smaller, more personal and cosy lodges.

Situated a 5-minute drive away from the centre of Windhoek, Hotel Thule is located on a hillside and offers magnificent views over the city. It features a restaurant and bar. I was amused by the hotel location. Very calm and peaceful and you can see the city from above as bonus. The staff is helpful, kind and very welcoming. The breakfast is wonderful with a bunch of options including healthy food.
