Ideally situated in the centre of Oaxaca City, Hotel Materia features American breakfast and free WiFi throughout the property. Very cosy and well-decorated little hotel (only 5 rooms). The location is great for travellers looking to stay in the city center, without being on a touristic place. The outside is very nice for breakfast and the staff is helpful. We had a very nice stay and would recommend this hotel, for sure!!

I initially booked 2 nights in this hostel but it was so great that I decided to stay an extra week! Good beds, clean bathrooms, amazing pool, perfect location, good breakfast, nice rooftop, and, most of all, super nice staff!! Don’t hesitate if you’re looking for a chill hostel in the center of Puerto Escondido.

The staff are incredibly kind, my room was very clean and cozy, and I enjoyed walking around the neighbourhood. The wifi was good and suitable to take a work call from my room.

Everything was so lovely. Great location where I could walk along the beach to get to other areas with more restaurants and shops, but the area right around the hotel is very quiet. the service was incredible.
