Danushka, the heart and soul of the hotel, made our stay truly exceptional. His genuine warmth and impeccable hospitality were unmatched. The rest of the staff mirrored his enthusiasm, creating a welcoming atmosphere that felt like home. The culinary experience was a delightful journey of flavors, thanks to the talented chef who treated us to new, mouthwatering dishes every day. Fresh, local ingredients were expertly crafted into culinary masterpieces that tantalized our taste buds. Hondaafushi Island Resort este înconjurat de verdeață și natură. Toate bungalourile sunt complet detașate și au vedere la plajă. Fiecare bungalou oferă multă intimitate. Staff was exceptional, surprised me with a birthday cake and decorations in room and dining. Room attendant ensured we were adequately tended to.

Situat de-a lungul malului Hanimaadhoo, The Barefoot Eco Hotel oferă unități de cazare liniștite și confortabile, cu acces gratuit la internet WiFi în întreaga proprietate. Well, I expected this place to be clean, remote from Male, meaning more beautiful and I am happy I made a choice and came here. Absolutely beautiful. I booked full board and I don’t regret it. I had a good appetite during my holiday. The hotel times shifts to +1 hr, so prepare to not miss any of the meals. Breakfast 7:45-10:15, lunch 13:00-14:30 and dinner 20:00-21:30. There is plenty to choose from, vegetables and fruits, every dinner and lunch variety of fish and meat. For breakfast you can ask eggs and pancakes to be prepared. I really liked that it was not many people in hotel and it felt very cool. Sunbeds on the beach, take any. I had a double room with patio and I just had the one closest to the beach. Perfect! Bins for plastic and paper everywhere on the territory. I saw someone complained of going to the bar and get a drink, I thought that would be a problem but in reality it wasn’t. We could give the order and drinks were delivered. Anyways walking 2-3 minutes to the bar and to enjoy and view is never an issue. The area is in the forest so there are lots of trees and palm trees. I felt similar like in Bali in Ubud. Water is provided in the room, tea and coffee sachets. There are plenty of excursions provided by diving center, choose and go. I liked that hotel provided 2 times a week a complimentary snorkelling trip. Yoga in the morning is also free and you just need to make an effort to wake up) I didn’t really use a swimming pool as I was more attracted to the ocean but pool is nice. There is no alcohol as it is not allowed but there is a little boat with boat bar and you can go there in the evening at 18:00 and 21:30 and enjoy a drink or two or three. I also used laundry facilities.

The proberty is lovely , simply I can say a hidden paradise - the staff was perfect specially the buggy drivers like ifshak and other two team members. - IBU from the service team and madhura from the kitchen who served the romantic dinner in the last day. -HK staff who really did a great job twice a day in the room and make it clean and tidy. Will not forget the super stars Yasmine the butler and Waël thé Chef who really made our Unforgettable vacation working almost all day long with a lot of love. - Also Christopher the GM and amir who checking on us from day to another to make sure all is perfect. The photographer really did a great job too and make a lovely photo session for us.
