The people at the hotel are helpful and polite. We had a room on the fourth floor with a lower ceiling on one side and very small skylights, and we were a little afraid that the room with a low ceiling and little light would be too small. At least that's the impression we got from the photos, but in real life it wasn't a problem at all and the room was super nice with comfortable beds and a big bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful with many tasty options. Parking in front of the hotel was free. And the hotel is right on the river bank, so it was good to go jogging to the beach and back in the morning.

Rooms were spacious, beds were big, everything was nice, tidy and clean. Reflected the same feeling as the pictures did - warm cosy and interestingly rustic themed. We had a good night sleep there with our family, neighbours sounds didn't penetrate the walls either. For extra there were small kids toys in the room, what gave it another great value. Garden was spacious with chairs, tables for everyone plus some gear for some sports too.

Very helpful and lovely staff who kindly let us lock our bikes in the conference room overnight. Our room was comfortable with a great bathroom. We ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, and both were excellent.

Situated in Saulkrasti, 700 metres from Lilaste Beach, Villa Gaida features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. We stayed at the barn house and rented all three apartments. It really had the unique historic touch in a modern interior. The planning was great, especially in the apartment nr 7. It was great that the house had doors both side of the building and several terraces. Also the outdoor area was lovely. Very well designed flowerbeds just in front of the house.

The staff were efficient and welcoming, they all spoke very good English. The latter point helped to ensure my stay was made very pleasant. My room was clean and well appointed, my evening meal very tasty. Should my travels see me back in that part of Latvia again I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.
