We enjoyed this great hotel! We especially liked the huge rooftoo pool and loved to warm up in the jacuzzi during the rain. Breakfast was very good.

Underground parking and easy to park. Unloaded our luggage before we went down and they brought it right to our room after check in. During check-in they gave us a nice refreshing shot of a tamarind cooler. The room's sea view was really quite amazing. It was even more amazing from the pool which we enjoyed. They provided beach towels to use while we were up there and there were very comfortable loungers to use under sun umbrellas. The pool itself was an infinity pool where you have a view into the ocean on one end. The room itself was really good. The bed and pillows were all very comfortable and the fridge worked great. The shower was really amazing. The water pressure was good and hot water came out in a matter of seconds. Huge mirror and well-lit and towels were soft and fluffy. Breakfast in the morning was amazing. Maybe they fixed it after all the other reviews. We had a buffet that included a fresh omlette/waffle/pancake station, assortment of different breads, warm food (rice, roti, hoppers, curry, sausages, bacon, mushrooms, baked beans, grilled tomatoes), cold cuts, salad, fresh fruits, sweet pastries, tea, coffee, juice... Not sure what else other people needed but for us it was plenty! The service is also very good. Everyone was very friendly and always smiling. It was really nice to see. They were also always very responsive and kind with us. The location was rather central. About 10mins to the Galle Face Green area, 15mins into the dutch hospital area, about 15minutes to the national museum and Independence Square area. If I come back to Colombo again, I would definitely stay here again!

Conveniently set in the Cinnamon Gardens district of Colombo, De Saram House by Geoffrey Bawa is located 4.5 km from Bambalapitiya Railway Station, 4.6 km from Khan Clock Tower and 4.6 km from R... Good points: The vibe of the place is lovely. As you enter the location through the big doors, a patio of two huge bouganvillea trees welcomes you. The architecture is splendid (of course! it's Geoffrey Bawa). Everything is tastefully done, right from the warm materials and colour to the comfortable wicker chairs, right down to the uniform of Anthony and his team. Speaking of which, it was wonderful to interact with Anthony. He is protective of his guests and always looks for their interests. He comes across as a fatherly figure who cares for people and does everything to ensure that your stay is perfect.

Situated in Mount Lavinia, less than 1 km from Mount Lavinia Beach, Coza Ceylon features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. Coza is a beautiful accomodation and I stay there every time I visit Sri Lanka! The interior is well designed and the whole place feels so calm and relaxing! Definitely recommend!

Leo's Home Stay offers accommodation in Dehiwala, Mount Lavinia 50 metres from the beach. Free WiFi is offered. Certain rooms include a seating area where you can relax. We arrived very early and there was no problem to leave our bags there. Our room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Leo gave us lots of helpful information and advised us on many options to see the best of Sri Lanka. He was up early in the morning (5.00am) just to check we could get a tuk tuk to the train station. Leo had his car ready as a back up which was very reassuring and most appreciated. Excellent service and place to stay.
