Toyako Guest House Ponkotan is situated in Lake Toya, in the Toyako Onsen district. With free WiFi, this 1-star hostel offers a shared kitchen and a shared lounge. The staff were great and really took the time to show me around and recommend me places to go to. They made sure there is a good guesthouse ambiance. It's a warm place and I'd love to go there again

Conveniently situated in the Toyako Onsen district of Lake Toya, The Toya is situated 41 km from Muroran, 41 km from Higashi-muroran Station and 46 km from Hirafu Station. Was a nice quiet hostel by Lake Toya and only a minute walk to the village and lakefront. I went when it was quiet in the town so I had a whole room to myself. There’s also a restaurant on the bottom floor which is open until late and the staff are very friendly had a nice long conversation with them and felt very welcomed! Good facilities too: shower, bath, fridge and sauna!
