This is a small family run guest house. We received a warm welcome on arrival and were offered orange juice and homemade cheesecake. The family is very friendly and helpful - you can feel that they want you to enjoy the stay. Our room was very clean and spacious and had a balcony to view the spectacular bay in front of the hotel. It is maybe 400 yards from the trailhead for Onigajo - part of the UNESCO site. It has many spots along a 1km pathway that hugs the cliff, to take photos, or just appreciate the view If you need to wash clothes, there is a laundromat in the hotel opposite - just to the right of the vending machine.

The staff was not fluent in English but they were very helpful and used a translating app to speak to us. Backpackers Hostel Tsubamenoyado is in the town of Kambara, which is a very strategic location especially for those who travel along Tokaido on foot. The convenience store is within one minute walk. The hostel is impeccably clean and the beds are very comfortable. The hostel owner is very friendly and speaks English well. I would highly recommend this hostel to those who intend to visit Kambara.

This little heritage hotel have in-suite, open air and public onsan, it is very refresh to take open air onsan in the early morning, they separate the gender to enjoy the onsan by time, so need to spare some more time there to enjoy the bath, and which is worth; their general manager who greed us in person speak very good English and providing excellent japan style services. Last but not least, their in-suite dinning is a must try.
Oh may god. This is by far the best hotel I have been to for leisure trip. Great location, great views, great facilities, great staff. Loved it to the fullest. Thankyou so much for making our vacation memorable
The room was very clean, the beds are super comfy and they have prepared 3 different kinds of pillows ( 1 hard pillow, 1 feather soft pillow and 1 throw pillow) for each bed which made my sleep very comfortable and relaxing since I am used to sleep using 2 pillows. The view from our room was excellent.
