The location was great , close to restaurants and the ocean . It was very clean and comfortable and excellent value for money . The staff was not fluent in English but they were very helpful and used a translating app to speak to us. The hostel is impeccably clean and the beds are very comfortable. The hostel owner is very friendly and speaks English well. I would highly recommend this hostel to those who intend to visit Kambara.

Quiet ryokan up on a hill with a view overlooking the valley and onto the bay. Good breakfast selection. Tokai Bus from Atami station stops right in front of the hotel lobby.

We stayed for two nights. The staff are very professional and remember your preference of food without reminding. Hotel has its own souvenir store selling all the famous brand in Hida and Takayama. Same price too. Good for shopping if you can't go out. Got two onsen bath and we enjoyed both.
Its location was near the train station. All staff were super helpful, kind, professional - but the entire Japan has excellent customer support. Always 12/10

The room was very clean, the beds are super comfy and they have prepared 3 different kinds of pillows ( 1 hard pillow, 1 feather soft pillow and 1 throw pillow) for each bed which made my sleep very comfortable and relaxing since I am used to sleep using 2 pillows. The view from our room was excellent.
