The lobby provides a first class impression that continues throughout with the rooms and hot springs. There's a late night noodle snack at the restaurant and treats at the hot springs. I speak no Japanese and was able to manage fine. Everyone was very kind in guiding me if I needed it. I would definitely stay here for more nights in the future.

This is a very new hotel across the street from Matsue Station but to get there you go through an underpass. The spotlessly clean room was small but perfectly fine for a single person and there were a lot of electrical outlets. Although my window faced Matsue Station, it was very quiet. I really enjoyed the breakfast buffet which had quite a variety of food and drinks. The comfortable well lit eating area had several small tables and a long hightop table with stools. The public bath was a real nice addition.

The Centurion Hotel & Spa Classic Izumo is situated in Izumo, 6.1 km from Hamayama Park and 6.1 km from Masakigaoka Park. By far the best hotel I've stayed in the whole world! Beautiful big bath with sauna, and large room with largest bed I've ever come across! Staff were lovely, too. It's very close to the station, too. I wish we could have stayed there the whole week!

Featuring 4-star accommodation, Oyado Tsukiyo no Usagi is set in Izumo, 2.6 km from Inasa Beach and 500 metres from Shimane Museum of Ancient Izumo. The staff service was exceptional. This is definitely our favourite Ryokan. The bathing facilities are great, especially after long walks! Next time we are back in Izumo we will definitely book this hotel. Food is really good, for drinkers it's worth going for the unlimited deal.
