The rooms were fantastic and large! The mattress was the most comfortable we experienced in Japan and they even had options for tatami mats if you would rather. While the bathrooms are shared, they are meticulously cleaned daily making it no big deal. There are 2 showers for 7 rooms and 3 toilets. We never had an issue with this as the ratio was more than alright. The owner was extremely kind and wore a phone on a necklace that had Google translate open at all times. She was the best! The location was also completely great.

The staff were great, very helpful. The Onsen was amazing, indoor and outdoor. The pool was great with floaties for guests to use, and inflatable small swimming pools on the side of the pool for babies. The breakfast was awesome, and very nice views from the big windows. The hotel is less than a 10min drive from Sokodo beach. Great place.

Hosts were amazing and helped a lot with questions, including driving us around when taxis were unavailable. Wonderful view of the port, great place to sit to have coffee. Small and very welcoming. Room was spacious and comfortable. FYI English is available but limited, but that’s true of the island in general, so please be aware. It is not particular to this property. But don’t let that stop you!
