Situated in Iriomote, 200 metres from Nakano Beach, NEST Iriomote features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a restaurant. Breakfast was very good and varied every day. The host (family) is very friendly and helpful and made good recommendations for restaurants and organized respective reservations.

Taketomijima Akaneya is located in Taketomi. The accommodation features traditional Okinawan red tile roofs and traditional Taketomi-style decor and amenities made from local woods and grass. Very close to the main beaches and to town, beautiful Japanese-style rooms and king-size bathroom. Very clean and staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Situated in Iriomote, 400 metres from Tsuki-ga-hama Beach, Mayagusuku Resort features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. What an amazing place. The apartment is roomy and very comfortable and has a big balcony with a breathtaking view, over the garden and bay and also the nights sky. It is great to have a couch in the living room to relax and the bathroom is big with a nice shower. The owner is very kind and helpful and knows just enough English to be able to arrange everything you need. There is free snorkeling gear, which we used for Ida beach, and we also did a snorkeling tour with the owner which was great. We got a private tour to some very nice snorkel spots with no other people/boats around. Saw a lot of sea turtles too! The location is great, as said with a gorgeous view. Having a car is recommended though as this makes getting around on Iriomote much easier. Cant recommend this place enough!

Located in Iriomote, 1.3 km from Sonai Beach, Hotel Hoshitate Iriomotejima provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. The couple who manage the hotel are absolutely delightful and made my trip so special! They really go out of their way to help you and make sure you're comfortable. Rooms are standard but comfortable and have a great view of the sea. The beach right in the front of the hotel is lovely and so private and quiet. The food is lovely and a great price.

Located in Urauchi and within 500 metres of Maruma Beach, 杜屋 西表島 features a terrace, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. If u like nature u get woke up by exotic birds, you can see tge sunrise from the terrace. The food and drinks are good. Bed was comfortable , shop and rental services and ferry nearby .

From the reception I felt so welcoming by bon san , staff seems professional in their duties , jego san thank you for making my 2nd day fruitful with koora waterfall and sup as I had no plan and was In confused of how to utilise the time

Located in Iriomote, 100 metres from Tsuki-ga-hama Beach, Ilmare Unarizaki provides accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The views were spectacular. The beach in front of the hotel was lovely to swim at and the water was nice and warm (May). The beach around the corner by the view point was gorgeous. The staff were extremely helpful. They gave us great recommendations for snorkelling and kayaking tours, advice on restaurants, directions, bus service and booked our reservations. Free pick up service from/to ferry. They spoke limited English and we spoke no Japanese (just a few pleasantries) but they used a translator on their phone to work out what we wanted. Nothing was too hard. There is a dive shop there which does boat tours out to the dive spots. You can also hire an SUP.

Located on Iriomote Island, Iriomotejima Jungle Hotel Painumaya offers air-conditioned non-smoking rooms with river and jungle views. Free Wifi is available at the lobby. the staff were excellent - very friendly and helpful. the pick-up service from the port was also great. i loved that they booked tours for you at the hotel so you didn't need to go elsewhere for assistance. the breakfast and dinner had many nice options.
