The bedroom was ideal with private bathroom.

We really loved our stay here, we only had one night. The hosts were very friendly and couldn’t do anything more for you. We had dinner there, it was fantastic and typical food of the region. Parking on site and great wifi. Everything was very clean Breakfast was very good and again typical food of the region. Could have stayed longer.

Palia's Hotel is situated in Laino Borgo and features a garden, shared lounge and bar. This 3-star hotel offers free WiFi. Every room is fitted with a terrace. A cosy small hotel, running by a family. The amplacement is on a river side, you can enjoy the sound of water. Behind is a large parking place. Nearby you can walk on the cobble streets of a typical calabrese village, Laino Borgo, and admire „murales” (magnificent paintings on the old houses walls). Rooms are big enough, clean, with confortable beds. Breakfast is delicious, including home made cakes (yummy!!). Roberto, the owner, is a simpatic guy, we talked a lot and he gave us helpful informations about the area.

The location is perfect, with breathtaking views, tranquil, yet close enough to many beautiful Calabrian beaches and lively Diamante in the evening. It was very clear how much thought went into every single detail at this exquisite property, truly a dream! We have been coming to Calabria since we were little and we just found this hidden gem. Gina the chef takes care of guests as if they were her own children and everything she prepares for food is homegrown, made with love, and divine! We ate the best food at La Pastorella. Claudia the owner is very kind and well known in the town of Maierà. We are in love with this place and will be returning. We felt at home.

I normally go there to sleep while traveling to Sicily from Northern Italy, that is quite a long trip. The food is very authentic and good. Staff is kind. From here you can hike in the Pollino Park.
