It was a relaxing hotel to stay at! The owner greeted and offered us juice and coffee upon arrival. The view was fabulous and our room faced the ocean! We could leave the window open and hear the waves of the ocean as we slept. The beach is in front of hotel. Also the AC worked great on those extra hot days! And the location is perfect, just 7 minutes by foot from the port. We were able to even rent a scooter right from the hotel with ease. Next to us on the beach, was this really cool limoncello shaped kiosk bar that opened from happy hour until the wee hours of the night playing all sorts of tunes from jazz to late night lounge. We loved it all! My only suggestion would be faster WiFi, but other then that, this place was awesome and we would go back in a heartbeat!

The room was spacious and clean, and the place has lovely common areas with great views of the beach and the port. The location is great and the breakfast was lovely. As a bonus, they have a beautiful and chill dog, Bianca!

Great location, friendly staff, good breakfast with a view over the water.. Room was comfortable and clean and had plenty of space. It also had a lift. Would recommend staying here.

Very willing to stay and chat to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Fantastic view from the room and a big terrace with cushions to while away the time. Comfortable room with a fridge and safe. Big wardrobe and chest of drawers. Excellent food! The breakfast was enormous. Huge plate of really yummy pastries and cakes every morning as well as juice and fruit and coffee. We had dinner at the hotel once and again the portions were enormous and the food was the best we had the whole stay. Highly recommend eating there.

Just 164 feet from Punta Barone beach, I Cinque Balconi is 656 feet from the port on the island of Salina. It features air-conditioned rooms and a large garden with lemon trees. We adored our two-night stay at I Cinque Balconi. The welcome was warm and helpful. Reception is beautiful and sets the tone and ambiance of the experience. Our room was fabulous. It was the perfect balance of rustic, Aeolian charm and the modern. From the decor to the service to the food at the restaurant, there is such attention to detail. We loved the breakfast and how you can order what you want in advance so there is no waste and the offerings can be nice and fresh! The staff were all so friendly, helpful, and professional. We made use of the laundry service and were so happy with the results! Also, the garden is grand for enjoying breakfast or for sitting with an aperitif in the early evening. Finally, the location is outstanding. We couldn’t have been happier with I Cinque Balconi!

Rosy is an excellent host with a personal touch that made me feel at home. She offered me fresh vegetables and fruit from her garden, homemade jam and helped me a lot in arranging excursions to the other Aeolian islands and transportation in Lipari (since I don't speak Italian). The apartment was very clean and comfortable, with a nice garden. It has a beautiful view and is ideal for calm nights.

Everything, the hosts we're very welcoming and helpful. The location is very convenient to travel between the hotel and the city. The rooms themselves are very nice and comfortable, and the seaview rooms are very serene. Would definitely recommend this stay, and honestly can't imagine travelling back to the Aeolian Islands and not staying here.
The Staff was just great, super helpful, gave great advise and checked-in several times to make sure that everything was going well. The view from the solarium was splendid, great for relaxation after a day visiting the nearby villages or trekking. Quality to price ratio is the best I had during my two weeks in the Aeolian islands.

This was a spacious apartment with a balcony with a far away view of the sea and of the islands Panarea and Stromboli. Excellent kitchen facilities included a double fridge and cooking stove. The host was helpful, attentive and friendly. I enjoyed my stay here and I loved the Aeolian Islands.
Great welcome at the hotel where we were invited to a complimentary drink. Best eggs ever and they even helped with booking a great boat trip around the Aeolian Islands. The sea view from the pool is amazing.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights, everything was excellent. The room has a breathtaking view from the balcony. The staff cleaned and changed the towels every day. Breakfast was so good with a lot of options. The bonus was an amazing view from our terrace. Good sized pool with sea water. The road to the center of Lipari took us about 8 minutes. Definitely we come back.
It was like a dream - the details from those chosen in our room, the lounge areas, the charming library and the restaurant were lovely and inviting. We can’t wait to come back.
The hotel staff advise us in advance with pick up service from the port which is really helpful as we have many luggages. The infinity swimming pool is beautiful with amazing view that the main reason I booked this hotel and didn’t disappoint me at all !

We had such a lovely stay at Case Margherita. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. The little patios by each apartment are a great spot to eat, hang out, and relax. The view from the pool is just awesome at all times of the day. Linda and her staff were all very nice, available, and helpful. We'll absolutely stay here next time we're in Lipari!
