We were welcomed by the lovely hotel receptionist Anna, who had such a great positive energy and so kind to also give us extra tips for our travels! In the Peninsula area, it is hard to find a good place to eat, much less to find places open past 6pm, thankfully you got a really good restaurant (Sker Restaurant) only 10 minutes away from the hotel:) Let's talk about the most important meal of the day, BREAKFAST! 10/10. They had all what a breakfast for champions needs: Eggs, Sausage, different sorts of Icelandic yougurt(Skyr), Fruits, Juices, Coffee, and much more;) And you can easily watch the northern lights from the comfort of your room, but if you wanna get even a better view, you just need to drive a couple minutes out Hellissandur (away from the street lights). The remoteness & peacefulness. We had veggie burgers & chips after check in and had the dining srea to ourselves with that magnificent view from the hotel’s panoramic windows. Breakfast was self service and plentiful. You won’t go hungry. There is an outside hot tub which my other half said was amazing.

Stykkishólmur town centre is a 25-minute drive away. -The staff is super friendly and professional -The room is well sized, has a kettle and a coffee maker -Good position to visit the entire peninsula -The food is really good compared to regular Icelandic restaurants -We had the opportunity to see the Aurora while we were there -Good coffee at the bar

Offering natural hot springs, free Wi-Fi and an in-house restaurant, this farmhouse hotel is in Iceland’s wild Westfjords. Súdavík village is within a 1-hour drive. Breakfast was great! the Dinner was also great - get the trout! The parrot was cheeky! We had great walks and picked bog bilberries. The natural spa and pool were enjoyable. The staff did our washing for a minimal fee and did a great job.

Luxury beds and power showers are offered at Hótel Egilsen. Baldur Ferry Terminal and boats to the West Fjords and Flatey island are 300 metres away. Wi-Fi is free. Kind friendly informative staff

The hotel is brand new and beautifully decorated. It is located in a central area with low tourism activity, which is suitable for an extended stay. We stayed a week. We wanted solitude with access to hikes, mountains, highlands, waterfalls and glaciers, and we got it. The breakfast was also delicious. The staff is very kind and accommodating. (We love your hospitality, Judith! And it was a pleasure to briefly meet the owner too!)

Breakfast was exceptional and dinner that we have had is the best meal we have ever had . definitely I recommend having dinner ! we have tried their many per person it was about 75eur and well spent money . the taste was amazing !
