The location was walkable to the river and all sights, The owner and family were warm and helpful, The room was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, also the most comfortable bed I slept in my entire stay in India I had to stay an extra night! The building itself is so beautiful you could walk around the floors and take artful pictures of the details, the rooftop was a scenic and beautiful space as well. I felt safe and secure as a solo female traveler. I highly recommend this beautiful Oasis in Old Town Udaipur.

It was an amazing experience really, we didn’t have that good experience at Jodhpur so we were kind of skeptical but our welcome itself was so royal and warm that we forgot all. The staff is extremely courteous and caring. They are there for everything you need. Even the food there is wonderful. Though the options are not many but they are very thoughtful and made very delicious. We loved our stay there and wished we could have stayed there for some more time … thank you RAAS Devgarh staff..

Previously owned by the Maharaj of Madri and restored to its current state, Madri Haveli features elegant rooms with stained glass windows. The area around it is conserved for tourist heritage walk. The building itself is lovely and in a convenient location. The staff are fantastic too, Uvi welvomed me with open arms, the manager offered me an excellent upgrade for my second night at a great rate, and Jaitinder helped me big time to sort some bits and pieces which were causing me stress like recharging my sim card. If you are visiting Udaipur I'd reccommend Madri Haveli, quick walk to all the sights too!
