Surrounded by beautiful gardens, Shamrock Lodge Hotel is a family-run hotel located in the very centre of Ireland, just 5 minutes’ walk from the restaurants, bars, and nightlife of Athlone town... Lovely lady at reception. Was a very warm welcoming person and a great choice for front of house. Facilities were great, easily organised things with reception. Good rooms with large mirrors and parking with in view of the room. In the town and yet it doesn't feel that way. Lovely area and would visit again.

From the moment you enter the hotel you'll find all the staff friendly & helpful from the reception desk to the conference staff & the amazing breakfast team. All go above & beyond to make your stay as stress free & comfortable as possible. I've stayed in many hotels throughout Ireland & I would rate the Athlone Springs Hotel as the No.1 for hospitality & service. A special mention to Nicole in conference & events who is an absolute asset to the team & has made all my booking a breeze to organise. This 4-star hotel has a Championship golf course and is 5 miles from Athlone. All newly reformed rooms at the Glasson Lakehouse have free Wi-Fi, TVs and a room service menu. Decor, staff and location were fabulous. Such a great hotel and an experience I would recommend anyone to try. Also you can bring your doggie which was lovely

Hotel Blu, Athlone se nahaja ob obali reke Shannon in nudi pogled na zgodovinski grad Athlone. Hotel nudi sodoben klub za prosti čas in elegantno restavracijo. After a lot of days of walking in the rain it was nice to be in a cozy hotel steps away from the city sites. And a nice pool, steamroom and sauna to relax and feel warm Ease of check-in despite a lot of people checking in at the same time. Staff was very helpful and calm.

Situated on the verge of Roscommon Town, this family-run hotel offers spacious, quality accommodation, free high-speed Wi-Fi and first class food. The breakfast was the best bit of our stay, beds were super comfortable too
