Komodo Resort is located on Sebayur Island bordering Komodo National Park, an hour’s boat ride from the Komodo Dragon Tour on Rinca Island. A secluded paradise. The rooms were nice and the service was great. Delicious food in the a la carte restaurant. Excellent diving instructors!

We are a French couple and tried this genuine experience for 3 nights on beg December 2023. We are very happy and recommend it, but we believe it must be clear what to and not to expect. We hope the details below will help other travelers. First challenge is to contact Jahiding, the lovely host who is also a komodo ranger. You will get his WhatsApp once you book the stay. Once on the Island, Jahiding will take care of you from A to Z, he stayed with us as the guide during the tours we planed with him and the captain. It's a private small boat (meaning not big) and you can choose where to go and how long you stay at each spot. We believe It was a privilege compared to other tours with dozens of people and timed visits. -Transportation The main challenge is to get to komodo Island with the "phantom" public boat that nobody knows about. It does exist and is actually located in a separate Harbour. Here is the GPS location : -8.484518,119.876788 The name is "TPI Kampung Ujung port". There is a smelly fish market to go through, not hard to miss. Price is 100k IDR if captain does not try to charge the tourist fee. You have to ask people around the boat if it is the correct one as there is no ticket to buy in advance nor any special desk. Just hope on the boat once you are sure it is the right one and pay when you arrive. The boat is mid size and around 20-30 people make the trip. It is not a ferry, it is much smaller, around 20 meters long and 4 meters wide and only one deck with shade. Transport takes 4h and is noisy (depends on the boat you have), travelers are komodo residents which are all very kind. Be prepared for basic confort, no seat no bench, just boat wood. No toilet break neither. The boat schedule as Jahiding told us is as such, and you will have to plan your stay based on this. From Labuan to Komodo Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Between 9am and 11am. From Komodo to Labuan Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday between 9am and 10am.

Menjaga Bay ligger i Labuan Bajo och erbjuder en utomhuspool, en trädgård, en terrass och en bar. Gästerna kan njuta av utsikten över sjön. We had the most amazing stay at Menjaga Bay. The villas are gorgeous, honestly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. The pool and restaurant area is stunning, the walkway to the bar at the end of the pier is really cool and we had a delicious cocktail whilst watching the sunset. We loved our ocean room. Would 100% recommend if travelling to Labuan Bajo and would love to return one day!

Angel Island Eco Resort offers a great tropical escape on a private Bidadari Island, which is located about a 30-minute boat ride from Labuan Bajo. Such a great stay and treasure.  The host, Kate, was very helpful, friendly, fun, responsive, informative about the eco impact and such a pleasure to chat to. The staff are warm hearted, super hospitable, and very helpful & kind. Rooms are well maintained, very spacious and clean. Food was flavourful and tasteful; there's a great variety of options that will never keep you bored for both meat eaters & vegetarians/vegans. The reef off the resort is amazing and well preserved with a variety of sealife and colors. We also viewed sunsets from other parts of the island which were beautiful. We had tours arranged and were never bored. Thanks for such a great stay and all the help.

Fully accessible hotel with a wheelchair. Unfortunately, due to an unexpected injury, we had to stay longer than planned, but here we had everything for a pleasant time.

My room was spacious and came with a five-star bathtub. This hotel with its own private beach is only minutes by motorbike to town centre. A scooter rental shop is across the street. Will definitely come again.

Sudamala Resort, Komodo, Labuan Bajo erbjuder 5-stjärnigt boende vid stranden i Labuan Bajo och har utomhuspool, fitnesscenter och trädgård. Super friendly and effwctive staff fixed our problem super quickly. The hotel facilities are extremely nice and comfy.

Hôtel La Belle Etoile ligger i Labuan Bajo, inom 4 minuters promenad från Bajo Komodo Eco Lodge Beach och 2,1 km från Pede, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård och gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen samt... everyone working there was so nice and attentive and gave us great tips what to do and helped us with bookings and renting scooters. everything was very clean and they had great breakfast.

Le Pirate Island - Adults Only ligger i Labuan Bajo och erbjuder en restaurang och en bar. Le Pirate Island - Adults Only har en solterrass. Everything! The place is beautiful. The highlight is the coral reef and the snorkeling. I was lucky to see a shark, turtle and baby sharks in mid January ( the rains were delayed ). I was staying in the glamping hut and it was lovely. This island is like a dream and I’ve already convinced 3 other friends to go. Food was pretty decent as well!

The staff were all professional and extremely helpful which was important as I have a child and elderly family member. The main host, Ferdi, was exceptionally supportive as were the rest of the staff.
