Overall, my experience at this hotel was quite satisfactory. Firstly, I found the location of the hotel to be convenient, situated in the Pakuwon Indah area of Surabaya. It was close to several business establishments and shopping centers, which made it easy for me to navigate the area during my stay. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly by the hotel staff, who provided efficient check-in service. The lobby area was spacious and well-designed, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The room itself was comfortable and well-appointed, providing all the amenities I needed for a pleasant stay. The complimentary bath bomb provided for my bath tub experience on the first night was a thoughtful touch and added an extra level of relaxation to my evening. The bed was cozy, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a long day of meetings. I appreciated the complimentary Wi-Fi access, which allowed me to stay connected and productive during my stay. In terms of dining options, the hotel offered a selection of restaurants and bars serving a range of cuisines. I had the opportunity to sample some of the local dishes at the hotel's restaurant and I was impressed by the quality and variety of the menu.

Situated within walking distance to Pondok Indah Mall shopping complex, InterContinental Hotels - Jakarta Pondok Indah features well-appointed rooms and suites in South Jakarta. The service was impeccable. From the doorman, concierge, reception to the restaurant staff, everyone was kind and professional. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Beds comfortable. On the morning I left, I had to leave at 5:00am and did not have access to the buffet breakfast as it was too early. But the hotel packed for me a wonderful breakfast box for me to enjoy in my room at 4:30am. I would definitely return again.

We visited Prambanan temple close to the Yogyakarta airport and stayed only one night in Borobudur. In the morning we went to Borobudur temple which is a must see when in Yogyarta. Now we are on Bali. Java is the whole other experince than Bali and only in the city where there are not many foreign tourists, one can see and sense how people in that country live. I would suggest everyone who travel to Bali to fly to Yogya and experience real Indonesia! There are cheap flights with AirAsia.
