The owner has created a unique environment where you can totally relax and enjoy the artistic, bohemian atmosphere he has created. Truly remarkable. The staff were superb and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotless and everything is available you could think of. I think the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in and you felt like a queen in the four-poster with a step to get in and out of, plus mosquito netting around (although no mosquitoes at all). Breakfast was like a banquet eaten outside on the rooftop and exceeded any expectation - a bargain for 10 Euros. Anything can be arranged - a driver to take you out on a day-trip and back to the airport. This really was the icing on the cake for my first time trip to the Gambia and I'm already looking to book a return trip. Fabulous for anyone who enjoys creativity and having an authentic experience.

Majula was a perfect place to relax after spending some time farther into Gambia. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was enjoyable and we appreciated the egg station and getting to try Chura Gherte (delicious and highly recommend). The menu for other meals was varied and reasonably priced. The pool was chilly but refreshing. The staff were happy to move umbrellas around and relocate chairs and shade as needed. My friends and I also enjoyed walking along the beach undisturbed when the tide allowed.

Beautiful structure, very relaxing.: the staff (Omar and Ginior) is very friendly and makes you feel at home.. Siaka is an excellent driver who accompanied us everywhere impeccably... and then we eat very well, from pizza to Dodoma. I hope to return soon!

Staff can’t do enough to help you. Location is 5 mins from seni Gambia. I’ve stayed here many times and it never fails to disappoint.

Rooms were perfect and they had the following: -Mozzie net -Water in the room refreshed every day -TV worked -Phone worked -Room service -Cats -Incredibly friendly staff - absolutely lovely It seems like a remote place, but if you walk to the beach and turn left, there’s a beautiful little bar with swings at the front. We are there most of the time as the food quality was better and cheaper. Also they had Espresso Martinis!
