Well what a difference we have stayed at the kings head several times and I must say it was a bit run down ( cheap and cheerful comes to mind) but now after a full refurbished it is now an excellent place to stay only downside is the rooms are on the small side which with an old building cannot be changed + great location and as always the staff are very helpful and welcoming

The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The room we stayed in was very clean. The food was excellent, they would give you large portion which is great value for your money. The hotel was lovely and is great for a relaxing time away. Its very close to Beccles Town centre and the broads which was nice. We would definitely go to the Swan Motel again.
Great location. Easy short drives to everything we wanted to do in the Broads. Very comfortable. Great pub across the street. Michael was exceptional in showing us the apartment and explaining how to use everything. He also gave great advice for activities. And Bridget had high tea awaiting us on arrival! It was a great place to stay!
Very welcoming. Staff could not have been more professional and friendly at the same time. Food was lovely. We ate there both nights. Good selection of ale and locals were friendly. A great base to explore the broads as it next to the boat yard. Fabulous and relaxing couple of days and t really reasonable price.

This is the perfect place to stay if you’re visiting the broads or surrounding areas. We spent New Year’s Eve here and it was simply amazing. The apartment is modern, super clean and the location is spot on. The hosts were also super helpful and made our stay as easy as possible
