Just minutes from junction 18 of the M4, Cross Hands Hotel is a charming 14th-century posting house with a pub and restaurant, in the heart of the Gloucester countryside. The room was very big,comfy bed very very clean room . The staff were very friendly and attentive, we ate both nights in the bar and food was exceptional as was breakfast . We will definitely be back especially if we can have room 20 again

Boasting a garden, The Swan is set in Thornbury and also provides a shared lounge and a bar. The property is situated an 8-minute walk from Thornbury Castle. Every room has a patio with city views. We were attending a wedding at Thornbury Castle and the location was perfect. Close to everything, shops, restaurants and pubs. The owners and staff were friendly & helpful. Interesting place with lots of history and breakfast was delicious!

Set in a rural location, just off junction 14 of the M5, the hotel is perfect for visiting Bristol and exploring the Cotswold countryside. Only used the room and breakfast rooms. Might have used the Bar area if my parneter was able to come. All room I used were well laid out and very clean.

I really enjoyed my stay and will be my go to in the future for when I have to work in the area. Breakfast was fantastic and the hosts were exceptional.

King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn slept in one of the bedchambers and walked through the ancient gardens at Thornbury Castle - A Relais & Chateaux Hotel, a Tudor castle near the Cotswolds and Welsh... Like that it is surrounded by big open country side. Is well maintained. That they have thought about guests experience, from food to service.
