Rutland Water Courtyard Rooms are located on Rutland Water Golf Course. A restaurant, an on-site bar and free WiFi is available. Free private parking is available on site. Peaceful location, lovely courtyard room with everything needed, including a very comfortable bed. Fantastic breakfast and excellent evening meal on the day we chose to eat there. It was nice staying next to the bar - we could have a drink in the evening without worrying about who was going to drive. We're not golfers, but learned a bit about the sport while we were there! Also was great to be so close to the Nature Reserve and able to walk around Rutland Water.

Nestled close to the shores of Rutland Water, just 5 minutes’ drive from Oakham and a 50-minute drive from Leicester. The house is extremely well built, furniture are great, there is a playroom with a pool game downstairs, in which we spent a lovely family time. When having diner you feel you are in a canpy surrounded by greens. The river is just down the road, offering great walks, and the pub is serving good food. We wished we had stayed longer!

Situated in Oakham, 46 km from Leicester Railway Station, The Fox and Hounds features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Full English breakfast, freshly prepared with local produce, very good. The location is also particularly good. There was an excellent circular walk of approximately 2 hours duration, starting just a short distance away.
