A supermarket is nearby and the kitchen is really well equipped so self catering was very easy. To top it all off, the bed is very comfortable, the shower is great and the supplies of basic supplies was very generous.

"The Anchor Inn was a traditional Drovers Inn dating back to 1888. Over recent years, it has undergone tasteful modernisation and now boasts a nautical-themed bar and restaurant area with hearty food... We had an amazing welcome from the owner, the bedroom in the second building was really nice and by the way very quiet and the home-made food SO delicious ! We would definitely go back on another trip to Scotland.

Lovely bathroom with similar view and a great shower, separate from the bathroom. Breakfast was a lovely traditional one, but there are lots of other options. We're already looking forward to our next stay at Knockderry House.
