There's as restaurant too, that does mainly fish and chips, that sort of thing. Not gourmet, but cheap and pleasant. The location was fine--Talgarth is a very small town, and you could easily walk anywhere from the hotel. It's on a somewhat busy road, but at night it's very quiet. The owners, twin brothers, are exceptionally helpful and friendly. Obviously at this price you don't expect luxury--but it's quite excellent value. I would certainly return.

Centrally located in Welshpool, known as the Gateway to Wales, this historic hotel offers traditional cuisine and a range of real ales. Room was absolutely beautiful, with the most comfortable bed. The fan in our room was a bonus as the weather was so hot during our stay! Excellent breakfast with plenty of options. Great bar and very friendly staff.

Lake Vyrnwy Hotel & Spa is located on the hills of the Berwyn Mountains, overlooking Lake Efyrnwy. The rooms at Lake Vyrnwy Hotel & Spa feature a flat-screen TV and a work desk. The most amazing place to spend the night. Dinner & breakfast were absolutely delicious, the service and hospitality was amazing, couldn’t have asked for a more glamorous place to stay. The walks around the lake were stunning!

Fridga available for residents to use by reception which very useful in the hot weather, and we were givem fresh ice for our cool pack for our second day at The Show. 10/10 highly recommend this B&B
