We would like to introduce you to The Tempus at Charlton Hall Estate, a decadent place where colours collide, and imaginations are captured. Food was very good. Got the roast beef dinner and my fiancé got the pork belly. Decent price as well to boot. Breakfast was also very good with a continental appetizer and then a full breakfast. Toured the grounds after for a nice walk. Perfect distance to bamburgh and alnwick castles for a day out.

Beaumont Hotel is situated in the heart of the market town of Hexham, less than 10 minutes’ walk to the rail station. We asked for a large bed,a bath ,a view, and to book us for 3 main meals.The room was ideal,a table and seating area,to set up treats for Christmas,very quiet on a night,which was great.The food in the resteraunt was exceptional quality.The staff were polite and efficient and productive.We would definitely tell our friends of this gem.

England's most northerly hotel, just 300 yards from the Scottish Border, the Marshall Meadows Manor House is set in 15 acres woodland gardens and boasts sea views and good food. Everything from the environment to the restaurant and the bar. Also we got a superior room due to a problem in our first one. Our stay was so good that we have booked already for next year. I need to add that the staff was absolutely great with us, extremely helpful and kind.

A quiet place with no disturbing traffic..Absolutely A place to visit.

Featuring free WiFi and a terrace, The Cookie Jar (Alnwick) was formerly the Convent of Mercy, and is just 0.2 miles from the centre of Alnwick. Words really fail me to explain how special this property was. The attention to every single detail was exquisite. I’m a professional organizer. My business is details. I’ve never seen anything like this. Everything - even the lights on the floor that automatically come on when you walk into the bathroom - was planned perfectly when this former convent was remodeled to make a sacred space for all its guests. There was even framed sheet music in the halls to, I assume, pay homage to the beautiful music that must’ve once graced the hallways. The staff was so warm and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was like something out of a Veranda magazine spread. The breakfast was delicious. At every turn in the hotel and the room itself, we were met with a delightful and unexpected experience. Who puts this much thought into a public space? The Cookie Jar does. You made our once-in-a-lifetime trip unforgettable.

Located in Warenford, 8 km from Bamburgh, White Swan Inn features free WiFi access and free private parking. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. All rooms include a flat-screen TV. Everything was just stunning. Nice location, beautiful comfortbale room with a few extra surprises (lovely cake, tipple) and absolutely amazing food. Definitely will come again if we are in the area.

Nestled in the picturesque Northumbrian village of Eglingham, The Tankerville Arms offers a bar and a restaurant. This luxury coaching inn also has free Wi-Fi throughout and free on-site parking. Everything was amazing. From the moment we arrived, everyone was so nice and accommodating. This 1700’s inn was charming and quirky. The service, the food(!!!), and George, the (owner?manager?) is one of the nicest humans I have had the pleasure of meeting.

In the heart of Northumberland, Matfen Hall Country Hotel, Spa and Golf Estate is a true escape to a luxurious world. Everything was spot on! Highly recommend this hotel.
