And it’s a lovely walk down to the town center—a perfect location. It appears to have been recently updated—tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. The breakfast includes lovely cooked options including fish and smoked salmon! The staff are pleasant and helpful. Paul and his wife, the hosts, are very gracious and fun to talk to with great recommendations for what to see, do, and eat in the area. Paul has a small, well-stocked bar in the lounge which is very convenient and nice for visiting with the other guests.

Having 2 labradors can sometimes be an issue but in the room they had there doggie welcome packs and doggie breakfast too. The hotel is a credit to the owners and staff and have already booked for next year

Location was amazing ..... not surprising the mobile and internet coverage was poor .... no bad thing at all as offered the opportunity to totally leave tech behind and tune into the beauty of nature all around us. Food and company excellent. Warm and safe and would highly recommend
