Beaumont Hotel is situated in the heart of the market town of Hexham, less than 10 minutes’ walk to the rail station. We asked for a large bed,a bath ,a view, and to book us for 3 main meals.The room was ideal,a table and seating area,to set up treats for Christmas,very quiet on a night,which was great.The food in the resteraunt was exceptional quality.The staff were polite and efficient and productive.We would definitely tell our friends of this gem.

In the heart of the historic market town of Barnard Castle, The Three Horseshoes Hotel is a 17th century building less than a mile from the River Tees. Very clean everything was as it should be , staff were excellent, best place we've stayed in years

Situated in the village of Armathwaite with its views of Cumbria Pennine fells and the River Eden, The Dukes Head is a traditional country Inn where guests can enjoy a drink, traditional meal and... The room was very comfortable, with a seating area and a good shower room. The breakfast was excellent with a good variety on the menu.

We opted for the traditional breakfast in the morning as part of our stay that was top quality

The charm of such a historic building cannot be overstated either. The food was excellent. The staff were friendly and inviting. Also, the distance to Hadrian's Wall is an easy hike. Overall it was wonderful.

Took time to make her feel so welcome.The housekeeper in particular was so friendly, telling us places to walk with my dog etc.Food was excellent and I'd highly recommend the cream tea,excellent value too.Phoned me when I also left my dogs collar and lead and arranged to post it back to me.I will 100%be back , bringing my lovely friends with me.THANK YOU ALL AT THE HOWARD ARMS
