Hotel in Hexham
Beaumont Hotel is located in the heart of the market town of Hexham, less than 10 minutes’ walk to the rail station. Understated elegance in every aspect, and outstanding quality in every aspect as well! Rooms - size, decor, amenities, view, rooftop patio for one of our rooms, both rooms just wonderful! A very nice, new, efficient, quiet, elevator Parking - right in front of the hotel ! Location - across from a beautiful park and close to town center Food - beyond excellent !! Dinner, breakfast, wine list far exceeded expections!! Value for cost: while not , definitely feel like we received extremely high quality service, lodging,, food and drink for the price Owner/Manager Roger - went above and beyond, sharing menu information, wine suggestions, food options for our two 9 year old children The rest of the staff were equally inviting and helpful at all times, from our reception host on 6/15 to the he lady staff member who helped me find more sugar at 0500 on 6/16 to our waitstaff. We stayed in 5 different hotels during our trip to England, all of the same "level", and this hotel far exceeded all others on this trip, and definitely in the top 5 of all hotels in our lifetime travels in terms of the combination of all factors that make a stay pleasant - elegance, quality, amenities, convenience, service. Well done!!

Located in Brough, 21 miles from Askham Hall, Wilding Hotel has accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. We know the property has just been refurbished and all is brand new- but it has all been done to the highest standard possible. It is a family run hotel and everyone pulls together. It is both rustic and stylish and there wasn’t anything that I saw that I didn’t like. Even the door cards were made of bamboo! The rooms are beautiful and the bed head boards were my favourite thing! Solid pieces of wood- so natural but stunning. Comfortable beds with amazing pillows! Beautiful decor - not fussy, just stylish and classy. Rooms cleaned/beds made daily and a lovely touch was having slippers waiting for you on a tray where you leave your shoes, and COMPLIMENTARY soft drinks in the fridge, to have whenever you fancied them. Now that is a first 🥰 and beautiful thick heavy bath towels. There’s a great choice of rooms- double/king/ family/ small double all very tastefully decorated - and 2 Bridal suites to choose from on the top floor with amazing en suite bathrooms. There are 2 gorgeous accessible rooms in the bungalow further down the drive too. The staff were brilliant- so accommodating and friendly. Thank you to each and everyone of you for making our stay there so relaxing and enjoyable. We will be back. Linda & Chris Brown 😃

Location was perfect so were breakfast and staff.
Overall the experience offered by Langley Castle was fantastic, we thoroughly enjoyed the architecture to the family friendly dining. The drawing room was inviting and very comfortable to sit in while having coffee, drinks, and waiting for supper.
Fantastic room with rustic style wooden furniture that gave it a charm in keeping with the age of the Inn.
This was our third time staying here. We just love the relaxing atmosphere, the excellent food in the restaurant. The staff are always very friendly and provide a great service. We always go on Valentines weekend and it is never too busy, it can actually feel very exclusive in this regard. The fantastic spa completes the experience
The staff were lovely. Vicky and Holly were particularly great. Vicky even went out to buy my mum special tea after her long shift. Breakfast was great. The pool was lovely…. Great that there was a kid free session. Loved the fact that people could bring there’re dogs along.
Very friendly people there, willing to help with any problems that might arise. Lovely church in town. The library in the house is well-stocked! Very good place to stay.
Lovely building Great staff Great food!

very friendly staff. very good meal
This is a challenge to answer. The Scotch Arms is a lovely 1600s building(s) that was incredibly well restored. (My partner is an architect, and he said the owners spared no expense in the restoration.) It was a delight to be in such a beautiful treasure of a B&B. The question is difficult to answer because complimenting the wonderful physical establishment is, Dianne, the warm, friendly and knowledgeable owner/host. She gives everyone a warm welcome. On this trip we are staying at 7 hotels/B&Bs, and the Scotch Arms stays in our minds as one of the best on this 20 day trip.
it was a beautiful building an the location was amazing
the owner was a delightful lady with class and welcoming manner. fantastic experience
Everyone was friendly and it’s in the perfect location to access Hadrian’s Wall. The bed is very comfortable, the hot water shower was wonderful after a blustery rainy walk, and I really liked the big towels! The room was a perfect size and I enjoyed looking out the window and watching the sheep graze as I woke. The food was very good and breakfast was plentiful and full of variety.
Location was perfect for exploring Hadrians Wall and Vindolanda. Checkin was easy and the manager even assisted with carrying my parents bags upstairs. Our family room was large and comfortable (travelled with adult son) and my parents room was changed to be closer to ours, which was much appreciated. Off street parking was also provided. We dined at Zaki indian restaurant, food and service was excellent. Breakfast exceeded expectations with a variety of cereals, fruits and a full cooked breakfast. I would highly recommend staying at the Centre of Britain Hotel.
