Located within 15 km of University of Edinburgh and 15 km of EICC in Roslin, Roslin Glamping provides accommodation with seating area. The hosts were really inviting and helpful. The camp was in very good condition upon arrival and everything is available as promised. A good mix of camping experience with all facilities available. Perfect for families.
Penicuik

Secret hideaway. Loved the rural atmosphere with horses in the field behind and the lovely little pond in front. The space was clean, comfortable and hi tech. Loved the hot tub that was ready to enjoy when we arrived. It was a quiet peaceful night of sleep.

Delkīta
Set 1.1 km from Butterfly & Insect World, Glenarch House is in Dalkeith and features a garden and a terrace. The accommodation is 2.1 km from the Dalkeith Country Park. We received the studio room which was really lovely. Very comfy bed, a well equipped kitchenette, a very large and well appointed bathroom and a private entrance from the garden. Parking was excellently located and just a few steps from the room. The grounds are very pleasant although fairly limited as to how far you can go along the river. When we arrived (a bit earlier than planned) we got the room pretty quickly and were shown around. Due to the Covid situation no breakfast is served but we had a well organized kitchenette with a coffee machine (with capsules) and fresh milk in the fridge. A large Morrison's just a short drive away, so organizing meals in the room wasn't an issue. Location ideal for driving into the city and the train station is close by if you want to avoid the traffic and parking problems in town. Highly recommend visiting the Dalkeith Country park close by for beautiful walks!
Borthwick
Located in Borthwick in the Lothian region, Borthwick Farm Cottage Pottery provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The location was brilliant as we were going to a wedding at the castle. The pottery was so cosy and ticked all the boxes, both of the owners were so welcoming and attentive. We even got lucky with the chickens and had fresh eggs! We will definitely be returning. 5*****
