The Argyll Hotel is less than 10 miles from Campbeltown on the main A83 road. Very friendly hosts and a beautiful ocean view! The breakfast was sensationell, the Staff tried everything so we would feel comfortable. Great cosy Bar with a nice whisky, rum and gin selection

The Carradale Hotel offers accommodation in Carradale. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Every room is fitted with a flat-screen TV. Some rooms have a seating area to relax in after a busy day. Somewhat older but very well preserved, kept clean and functional

On Scotland’s beautiful western coast, the Anchor Hotel and Seabed Restaurant in Tarbert provides luxurious accommodation and fine Scottish breakfasts. Lovely staff. Nice rooms with tea/coffee tray - iron, etc - great!

Dellwood Hotel is set on the main road into Campbeltown. Set In its own grounds and 5 minutes’ walk from the town centre, the family-run Dellwood has a restaurant, bar and free WiFi. The Dellwood was wonderfully hospitable and was great part of my stay in Campbeltown. Tracey and Bruce greeted me with some of the warmest hospitality I have ever received. They made me feel like I was staying at my favorite aunt and uncle’s home. The view over the town was incredible with clear sight lines of the sunrise over the harbor. Glen Scotia is literally a stones throw away and Springbank Distillery/Downtown Campbeltown is <8 minute walk. There is also a grocery store under a 5 minute walk nearby for last minute snacks/drinks/and supplies. Adjacent to the lobby there is an adorable bar and dining room. The entire property is uniquely decorated, clean, and very well maintained for such an older building. Great representation of the charm and magic that is Campbeltown! My only regret is that I had an early bus and wasn’t able to stay for the full breakfast (It had my mouth WATERING as I passed by. Bruce was so kind and packed me a bacon sandwich while Tracey had stocked me up with snacks for the trip, so thoughtful!).

Boasting a beautiful location next to the harbour, with rolling hills in the distance, this hotel is 5 miles from Machrihanish in the heart of Campbeltown. Beautifully appointed hotel, better than I expected. Pizza was good, will recommend to anyone.

Argyll Arms Hotel is set on Campbeltown’s main street, close to the seafront and where the ferries leave for Ardrossan. Great staff, service, room, wifi, breakfast, light supper and location.

Situated in Tarbert, Islay Frigate Hotel has a garden, terrace, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. The property is non-smoking and is set 34 km from Kilmartin House Museum. The people at the desk in the hotel pub were fantastic. Great town

Offering a garden and garden view, Ronachan is situated in Clachan, 41 km from Mitchell's Glengyle distillery and 41 km from Springbank Whisky Distillery. This stay was an unexpected little spoil on our journey to Isle of Islay (only 15min from the Ferry Port) - Everything superseded any expectation we could have possibly had had. Andrea (and Kat) nailed this one. To top everything off...Andrea is an incredible chef and spoiled us with the most delicious 3 course dinner and morish breakfast. Bonus - all the ingredients used are self-grown. Absolutely Perfect! If you are in the vicinity - please go visit them. I promise it will be worth the trip. 10 STARS!!!!!

Set in Muasdale and only 23 km from Mitchell's Glengyle distillery, North Muasdale Farm offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. This chalet features a garden. Catherine was an amazing host on arrival, also great communication before arriving, lodge was beautiful decorated and immaculate, very well equipped with everything you would need, bed also comfortable, hot tub is an added bonus great to relax and admire the gorgeous views over this little piece of paradise, kintyre is certainly a beautiful place, we enjoyed our visit to gin distillery and gigha also Westport beach and Southend beach are all definitely worth a visit, also it was lambing time on the farm was lovely to see all the new born lambs.
