The Mason Arms is located on Devon’s Jurassic Coast, just a 10-minute walk from Branscombe Beach. Our 10/10 stay at this place started the night we arrived. After a somewhat harrowing drive in the dark/rain/fog down a tiny road we were exhausted. The lovely man (Dan who it turns out was just filling in but did a bang up job) at the check in just took us straight to our (out of this world) room and said "Check in in the morning, no problem" and handed us a pot of cream (... this is for your coffee/tea). The room itself was huge and gorgeous with a full sitting room area, mini kitchen and a giant king sized bed that was so comfortable I would still be there if I could. The bathroom had a great shower and a giant bath tub. We stumbled across to the pub and (although it was past kitchen closing) the chef made us a lovely salmon dinner. Things just got better from there - gorgeous full breakfasts, lovely dinners, kind and caring staff EVERYWHERE. The town is tiny but stunning with plenty of interesting historical buildings and great hikes both around the area and over to the next town (charmingly called Beer). Thank you to Dan, Sophie, Connor and Hannah for making our stay so incredibly special.

The staff were exceptional, so warm and welcoming and we were upgraded for free as it was my birthday. That was such a lovely touch. Hotel was stunning and also views would have been if it were not for the rain and we arrived when it was dark. Hope to stay longer next time to explore properly.

The Gresham is situated on the seafront in Weymouth, just 0.6 miles from Weymouth harbour. The rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and a TV. There is free WiFi in all public area. Louise and all the staff were great. Very welcoming and so friendly and polite. Our room was immaculate and had everything we needed. There was a fan in the room which helped to keep the room cool. Also, the breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stay there again and I would highly recommend it to others. It is the best Bed and Breakfast I’ve stayed in the U.K. 👍😊

And his granddaughter welcomed us with the most amazing and beautiful cupcakes on arrival. Derrick gave all the best recommendations on what to see, where to eat, and history of the hotel itself.

Fabulous location just a few minutes walk from the beach and walks along the Jurassic Coast cliffs. West Bay is just a mile away along the clifftops. There's also a nice, family run take-away cafe in Eype near the seafront for sandwiches, cakes, hot and cold drinks. Hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful at all times. It's a relatively small hotel with comfortable bar area and restaurant downstairs, including outdoor terrace looking toward the sea. Very good quality food for breakfast and evening dinner. Very dog friendly.
These lodges are set in a stunning part of the Jurassic coast which is very peaceful. Its near a beautiful beach and walking distance to a hotel and a pub which serve great food. The hosts are very pleasant and the property was immaculately clean. We had a 2 bed lodge which was great as I stayed with my Mum and it was perfect but might be a little small if there were 4 of you, It had a little garden at the back and its own parking space. We had beautiful weather and would return.Its not too far from Bridport so supermarket is nearby ,
Bridport
I enjoyed my one night stay here in Bridport. Perfect location for everything, great cafes and restaurants nearby, superbly fitted out and very swish room! The breakfast was fantastic and filled me up for my day of walking and sightseeing the Jurassic Coast at West Bay and beyond. Very friendly staff, let me leave my case at the hotel early in the morning, then check in properly later in the day. Great stay.
Portland
The apartment was immaculately clean, well equipped with everything you need and a very very comfortable bed! Literally get the boat over to Weymouth outside the apartment, good walking distance to local chip shop and couple of pubs. Lovely sitting in lounge or on balcony overlooking the water, especially at sunset - wow! Highly recommend staying here to explore Portland, Weymouth and the Jurassic Coast.
The hotel was conveniently situated for exploring the Jurassic coast and quiet. The staff couldn’t have done more. The breakfast was brilliant with a good choice to suit all tastes. The views from the hotel were fantastic. The hotel had everything exceptionally clean with hand sanitizers by doors and in public spaces. We had a meal at the hotel too which was also cooked and presented to a high standard
Lulworth Cove
The views, the location and the staff are all perfect in this incredible hotel. Not been to Lulworth Cove before and didn’t realise quite how beautiful it is. The hotel is just metres from the cove and perfectly placed for many a ramble along the Jurassic Coast. The view from our room was breathtaking and the staff are some of the friendliest I’ve experienced.
Lyme Regis
Excellent location just a 2 minute walk from the sea front. Lots of shops, pubs and restaraunts within easy walking distance. Very well equiped apartment that was spotlessly clean. Allows easy access to the fabulous coastal path that offer spectacular views along the Jurassic coastline.
Great location, short walk to the beach and a great base to explore other nearby places along the Jurassic Coast. Staff were really helpful and accommodating. Hotel traditional in style, but had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was brilliant.
Very cosy atmosphere, good food and excellent service. We stayed in a lovely big room with a four poster bed and a roll top bath. The hotel’s location is perfect for exploring the Jurassic Coast and Bridport is an interesting town with lots of great bookshops.
Seaton
Stayed for 3 nights and convenient for exploring Jurassic Coast. Comfortable and clean studio apartment, lovely equipped little kitchenette with fridge small freezer compartment, hob and oven. Close to beach and large Tesco within walking distance.
Charmouth
The Westgate is a very spacious apartment within a beautiful Georgian house. It has lovely views and is very close to the Jurassic Coast and to Charmouth and Lyme Regis. We had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely like to visit again.
An idyllic location, the dawn chorus in the surrounding woodland was a delight. A short drive to the Jurassic coast, Wareham, Corfe, Arne - a great location. The host, Sinéad was very accommodating. Comfortable and well equipped apartment.
Good access to East Devon and jurassic coast. Clean charming, historic hotel with pleasant and helpful staff, good food and excellent Otter beer. Axminster is an historic town and has a good market on Thursdays centred around the church.
Lovely good sized room. Very clean and Excellent value for money. We were looked after very well by the staff and the meal we had in the restaurant was very nice. A great location for exploring the Jurassic coast and close to Dorchester.
Bridport
The ground floor apartment was a great location to go and explore Dorset Jurassic coast. The apartment is roomy, nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Ample parking.
A well very located hotel, restaurant and pub with parking in the centre of Lyme Regis next to the Sea Front, Shopping and Jurassic Coast.

Everything. It was a 10 on a scale of 10. All other hotel experiences will be measured by our experience at the Knoll House. The view from the room was amazing. Sunrise and sunset were spectacular. The staff was extraordinarily friendly and polite. The breakfast and the dining area were perfect. The bath was heavenly.
