The host, Claire, was wonderful - great communication and she went out of her way to help me out during my stay (providing advice on local activities, storing bags, drying some wet clothes). Breakfast was excellent.

I spent four nights in a well appointed, quiet and large room with an excellent shower. Mark and Karen were congenial hosts who were extremely attentive to my needs. Karen prepared a wonderful breakfast of my choice from her menu. The location is a great choice for exploring the interior of South Wales.

We liked everything about this hotel. We paid extra for the SUPERIOR room, you get an extra sofa bed if needed. The room was of a good size, bathroom as expected, with a shower over the bath. The room was quiet and warm The TV & WiFi were great. The breakfast was EXCELLENT, English & Welsh Breakfast options. The evening restaurant was very enjoyable, but lacking in atmosphere due to its size. The breakfast room had great views across open countryside. This is a very nice hotel, and YES we would rebook as it's so good, an amazing find in such a beautiful location, easy for the ferry ports, shopping and access to the midlands etc.

The directions to access property was clear. The location was perfect. The room itself was very clean. I slept comfortably and there was no noise. The car park is only a few minutes from the hotel and all day fee was £3.50.

It was a delight to stay at The Angel! From the moment we arrived we were looked after so well by all the fabulous staff at all times of day and night. I can’t thank the kind man who helped us out in the courtyard at three o’clock in the morning and brought delicious tea and a cappuccino covered in salted caramel chocolate! Every part of the hotel is a magical blend of glorious architecture that has been there for hundreds of years and modern luxury. My room was the best! I wish I could have brought it home. With the exceptional en-suite. My bed was so comfortable and the bed linen was perfect! Every need was catered for to ensure the most delightful stay. The Angel Hotel is in the heart of Abergavenny, allowing such easy access to anywhere in the town. It was the best holiday in a place that I love. Staying in the Hotel made absolutely perfect.

The Castle Hotel tiene salón de uso común, restaurante, bar y instalaciones para deportes acuáticos en Talgarth. Great people, couldn't be more helpful. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Wonderful staff, beautiful old building just on the edge of Hay, nice restaurant and bar, nice outdoor seating, quiet, pretty surroundings, staff that really went above and beyond, onsite parking.

The Bear está situado en Crickhowell, en Brecon Beacons. Data del año 1432 y ofrece un ambiente acogedor y comidas excelentes. Fue galardonado como la mejor posada del año 2010 por la Good Pub Guide. Outstanding restaurant; lamb cooked to perfection, good selection of wines, attentive staff. Rooms are comfortable and quiet, parking facilities are adequate. Hotel staff is friendly and competent.
