Good location, easy stroll to the centre, big room (linen bedding!), good breakfast, elevator, secure parking (very important as the streets were crowded with much construction). Set within 12 km of Pech Merle Cave and 48 km of Najac Castle, L’Auberge du Sombral offers rooms in Saint-Cirq-Lapopie. This is a great location on the Valley du Lot with wonderful view points. The auberge sits right in the typical village. The village could be crowded during the day but becomes very quiet in the evening and mornings. It's a very pleasant setting with welcoming staff. We stayed only one night on our way to visit Pech Merle.
