The entire hotel was impeccably clean. The welcome was probably the friendliest and most genuinely helpful welcome and check in that I've ever experienced. Exceptional to say the least. Le Grand Hotel is a designer hotel situated in central Poitiers, within walking distance of Notre-Dame la Grande and Poitiers Palace. It offers air-conditioned guest rooms with a contemporary décor. The room we had was a generous size, had tea/coffee making facilities and a terrace. The bathroom had a bath with a shower over which had good water pressure. Bed was clean and comfortable, air con worked well. The location was perfect, straight out of the front door into the centre of town with loads of bars and restaurants to choose from. Secure underground parking is a great asset and was around 8€ for the night.
