Set in a gorgeous location in a small town away from the touristy villages of the Alps. The views are to die for and the grounds and hotel are immaculate. There is a lovely restaurant that serves delicious food at reasonable prices and includes some local specialities. The grounds are so well maintained and there are e-bikes for hire and a spa as well. But what sets this gem apart are the amazing people who work here. Everyone was so incredibly friendly and made me, a solo traveller feel like an honoured guest. I cannot recommend enough! Thank you for a wonderful if not far to short stay.

La Ferme de Cupelin is located on the "heights of Saint Gervais les Bains" at 5 min drive from the ski resort. Very nice proprietor, helped us with a broken down motorcycle by making the connection with a neighboring chalet and two friendly Dutchmen who towed the bike to our chalet. The proprietor cooks every night and invites all his guests for dinner on the terrace - met some nice people that way. The chalet sits away from the road in a nice meadow surrounded by trees. We enjoyed relaxing under the trees, having breakfast on the terrace and especially the cool mountain air and the absolute stillness.

This hotel is set in the heart of Combloux. You can relax in the sauna, hot tub or seasonal swimming pool. The rooms at Aux Ducs de Savoie include a private balcony with mountain views. Lovely place! Nothing to complain about and lots to be gratefull for. Just perfect for oss and the hole crew took good care of us. A bit old but charming hotel with great character. Wonderful food.and amazing views. We will be back.

La Ferme du Golf is opposite the Megève ski lifts and the Mont d'Arbois golf course. It offers en suite accommodation with free Wi-Fi internet access. The room and the view from it were lovely. The location is impossible to beat: you're in front of the 2 main gondolas in Megeve, it's about 15 min by car from Megeve town, ~1h from Chamonix, and ~2.5h from Verbier.
