The place was incredible. The unit was spectacular, clean, tidy, comfortable. It was like being cocooned in a wonderful embrace surrounded by snow. We loved it so much!!

The concierge, restaurant, and housekeeping staff went out of their way to make me feel like I was their most important guest. As a solo traveler, this really made me feel extra welcomed. The restaurant food was incredible - I tried something new on the menu every night and was never disappointed. The breakfast buffet was large, varied, decadent, and delicious.

Lapland Hotels Sky Ounasvaara ligger alldeles intill centret för vintersporter i Ounasvaaras på Ounasvaarafjället. Här erbjuds en restaurang och en takterrass med utsikt över Rovaniemi och Kemi... Amazing location, beautiful surroundings. The staff is very nice, the rooms are cosy and clean, the hotel really does play into Arctic fantasy. Also, for people travelling with dogs - 1. a scenic trail starts pretty much 10 meters from the door of the hotel, and it’s very convenient to say the least 2. While a lot of hotels claim that they are dog friendly, in reality they simply “accept dogs”. This hotel is actually dog-friendly, offering bowls, towels, snacks and “please do not disturb our pet” door sign.

Nova Galaxy Village ligger i Rovaniemi, inom 16 km från Arktikum - vetenskapscenter och museum och 18 km från SantaPark, och erbjuder boende med en restaurang och gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen samt... Love it our beautiful experience in this igloos hotel. I loved that each igloo had their own private sauna. The kitchen restaurant is cool and the cook is Swiss. They have a private huski tour and there also private snowmobile tours and there are 2 cute reindeers living there :) we had luck to have a clear sky and at night we saw a beautiful Aurora under our heads.

Hotel Boreas ligger i Rovaniemi, 24 km från Arktikum - vetenskapscenter och museum, och erbjuder boende med en gemensam lounge, gratis privat parkering, en terrass och en bar. Everything was perfect. Very nice staff. Also, they had lots of cool box games. Perfect remote location for the northern lights.

Located on the island of Vartiosaari, this hotel offers rooms with Finnish design and free WiFi. The island is accessed via a 72 metres long hanging bridge over the river Kemijoki. The setting was absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous snow and scenery. Very quite area. The rooms were stunning, had everything we needed. Very friendly, homely feeling. Its a family run hotel, the lady who was working the days we were staying was so friendly and helpful. She went out of her way to chat to our kids about there days trips and what plans they had when she would meet them outside. Taxis are about 30euro from the hotel to Santa Claus Village & City Centre.

Detta hotell ligger endast 2 minuters bilresa från Rovaniemis järnvägsstation och erbjuder fri tillgång till traditionell finsk bastu, gym och WiFi. Här bor du 600 meter från vetenskapsmuseet... Great central location. Friendly staff. Great selection for breakfast. Breakfast got busy at times but manageable. Lovely quiet rooms. Nice and warm. Rooms were compact but more than enough for a base. They were great at putting our 2 rooms together.
