Staff was polite and helpful. At the reception area there a free to use coffee maker offering a variety of beverages such as cappuccino, hot chocolate, tea, etc There is a kitchen you can use to prepare your own food, should you wish.

Offering a sun terrace and views of the city, Hotel Mustaparta is situated in Tornio, 1.4 km from Haparanda. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and a la carte restaurant. I had a beautifully decorated room. The hotel was centrally located and the attached restaurant had great food.

Hotelli Olof is located in Tornio, just a 2-minute drive from Haparanda. The modern guest rooms features a flat-screen TV, a work desk and free WiFi. Very nice breakfast. Good sized room and bathroom. Nice view of the river from our room.

Kongressihotelli Joentalo is located in Tornio, 3.2 km from Haparanda and 23 km from Kemi. There is free private parking with heater outlets. The rooms are very big, quiet and comfortable!

Located 250 metres from Lappari Activity Park and 10 minutes' walk from Haparanda, this hotel features 3 restaurants. There is also a relaxation area with 3 saunas and an indoor pool and gym. The staff was really hospitable and figured our group of 26 people a meeting room at night to gather up and spend some time together.

Comfortable, charming, and sweet accommodation in a great location. The proximity to the train is amazing as it is just a few steps away from the platform and yet the room is quiet and super easy to navigate. The cafe is delightful, breakfast is lovely, coffee is solid, and the gift shop is great with local items and handicrafts. Definitely the best place to stay in Kemi.

Hotel Yöpuu is in southern Kemi, next to European Route E8 and a 5-minute drive from the city centre. It offers international cuisine, free sauna access and free parking. Everything was very clean, simple, but nice and cozy furnished. We had what we needed, breakfast was good, the personal was really polite and helpful. When we arrived at 20:30 h, it was possible to order a warm meal, which was great. There is a small restaurant and lounge with TV next to the reception. The hotel is small, approx. 4 km away from Kemi city centre (possible to walk), well situated on a bigger street, but nevertheless very calm with a big forrest behind the hotel. The hotel has also a sauna and a roof terrace where you can watch the stars and even the northern lights. The personal and hotel director are really engaged, although their English is not the best. We were quite satisfied. :)
