It is a castle! Breakfast was wonderful. Walking access to Urdavai Bird Center amazing! Staff friendly , kind, responsive.

This rural hotel is located in the quiet village of Morga, a municipality partly included in the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve. Our host, Miriam, was exceptional. Great information on the area with wonderful recommendations. On our day of departure, a Monday, the restaurants in town were closed. She went and made us coffee and breakfast.

Luruna Palacio has its own secured car park which is not always the case in Spain. Above all, the staff of this hotel are exceptional. Our big thanks to the lovely Itsasu. Situated in Arrieta, 26 km from Funicular de Artxanda, Hotel Txoriene - Arrieta - HBI01298 features accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. The location is great in the Basque countryside and only a 30 min drive to the beach (Urdaibai). Quiet, friendly staff, easy to get to by car, nice facilities, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and beautiful surroundings. We had to leave early in the morning and we not able to eat the breakfast provided but we so wish we would have been able to!
