The hotel makes an impression of a solid 5* hotel. Not sure why is it only 4*. Amazing location, great service, beautiful interiors. The mountain view from our room was breath taking! I would strongly recommend to book a room with mountain view. We didn’t do it but luckily got an upgrade :) We will be back,thank you!

Lovely property for a break to “get away from it all”. We stayed for 1 night and enjoyed relaxing at the grounds. be aware that despite the heat ( 35C whilst we were there), the pool was very cold!

This felt like true, old-fashioned Spain -- maybe even better than I had imagined. The hacienda setting amid olive groves in the mountains, plus pool, excellent AC, and fabulous shared kitchen were all extraordinary. One evening as we were sitting by the pool, a friendly fox trotted over to say hi. And the owner, Marie, was terrific, esp when we mislaid our keys late in the evening. Oh, and nearby Ronda is not to be missed. We even got to enjoy a local flamenco concert / lesson.

El Bosque is a charming little town with a nice selection of supermarkets cafes and restaurants. It's also the location of the office which issues the permits needed for some of the walks in the area. Excellent value for money. Our new favourite country retreat.

Set in beautiful gardens, this family-run country hotel provides a peaceful venue for a relaxing getaway in rural Andalusia. Located 15 minutes' drive from Ronda, it has a charming country setting. Everything! It is such a beautiful and serene place! The location is great, the house is traditional white house, but many things were updated, so it does not feel outdated. It definitely has a lot of character. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The pool area is lovely. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast. We liked everything! Was a great value for money!

We had a nice chat with the new manager of the hotel. We were shown to our rooms. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed including a small refrigerator for cold drinks. We enjoyed a lovely lunch at the restaurant. Our waiter Victor was really fun and light. He made us feel welcome and made sure we had all the food we could possibly eat. So yummy. We enjoyed a dip in the pool and a leisurely rest on a sunbed. Everything was idyllic. Thanks for a lovely get away with friends.
