Ospitato in un ex convento e sito in un edificio risalente al 15° secolo, l'hotel Parador de Plasencia vanta un'incantevole architettura originale comprensiva di ampi corridoi, archi e cortili. To stay this hotel exceeded my expectations! Hotel is located in an old monastery building. The way how they could manage to preserve and emphasize this antiquity is impressive! Concerning facilities, cleanliness and comfort - all are perfect. Very friendly and helpful staff. Hope, I will have a chance back to Plasencia in order to stay in this great hotel again!

Excellent traditional Posada. Family-run. Room was very clean and in spite of cold weather (December), the heater worked very well. Plenty of blankets, comfortable bed. Great shower. The traditional food was excellent, local and the portions were huge, including the breakfast. Friendly reception. Perfect location for visiting Monfragüe, and the village is interesting to wander through. Free parking next to the Posada.

Situated in Toril, 8.7 km from Parque Natural de Monfragüe, Hotel Rural Portilla de Monfragüe features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. We absolutely loved this hotel. So absolutely peaceful in the fresh air of open quiet countryside. You could hear only the sounds of the bees and the birds. It reminded me of the lodges I occasionally stayed in when I lived in East Africa many years ago,providing just what you need in a very simple and tranquil way. The host and his team were charming and helpful. Unfortunately the company supplying electricity was upgrading something in the supply and had planned a power cut for the morning we left. We were warned this was going to happen and that the hotel would be closing until power was returned. We would have loved to stay longer
