Very nice to be able to use dining area to eat our own dinner, using plates and microwave. Pillow was too firm for me but they have softer ones if you ask. Lovely hosts who gave good hiking and touring suggestions. Everyone very pleasant and helpful. Very good location.

We came back after 3 years because we enjoyed it so much. Our second stay at Can Pei was just wonderful again and we felt like at home. This cozy property occupies two houses from the XV century surrounded by beautiful countryside and situated just behind the city walls of the 'old town' in Santa Pau. The place is wonderful located just in the middle of the old town, with a refreshing pool and nice and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was very nice.

Housed in a 15th-century mansion, El Ventós is set in an estate in Garrotxa National Park. It features a swimming pool, rooms with balconies and free Wi-Fi access throughout. It's been a while since I've given a place the highest rating, but this one deserves it. When we drove up the forested mountain in our car, we did not expect that after a few winding kilometres, we would reach a paradise. Of course, we immediately noticed the beautiful mountain panorama, which looked even nicer in the rays of the setting sun. The greatest thing, however, is the accommodation itself: a historic, renovated building in which every element has been refined to the last detail with a unique sense of aesthetics. A beautiful living room with sofas and a bar, well-preserved rafters, an antique piano, lots of rustic decorations, and matching materials and colours. It felt like another world there. Let's add a very nice receptionist, delicious food in the hotel restaurant, very friendly cats and five cheerful Saint Bernard dogs - and we have a recipe for success. We will be happy to return there.
