Ardea Purpurea Lodge is located in the Doñana Natural Park, surrounded by nature, in the middle of a Mediterranean forest in the Villamanrique area. The place is amazing, we stayed in one of the 2-bedroom bungalows, we really liked the fact that it is equipped with a small kitchenette, so we could prepare some basic food when needed and also enjoy the excellent restaurant (the food there is amazing, we tried almost all possible types of fish from the menu, all very well prepared and served!). We also loved the pool and the fact that it is perfect for small children. The staff is also extremely welcoming, all of them made sure to make our stay very comfortable. They are very efficient and very friendly and could accommodate our different requests. The location is also perfect, in the middle of the Doñana park, there’s a lot to visit at only a 10-min drive (also great places for small children). We also spent a day in Sevilla and another day at the beach in Matalascañas, all very easily accessible from Ardea Purpurea. We were looking for a place to spend a relaxing holiday with our 2-year old, where we could enjoy nature while having all necessary facilities for a small child. This place was perfect for families and went beyond our expectations! Thanks a lot again to all the staff for welcoming us!

Offering rustic and elegant rooms with free WiFi, Hotel La Malvasía is set in La Aldea del Rocío, next to Doñana National Park. It has a terrace with garden and patio views. This is actually a gem of a place that deserves a 5 star title. Attention to detail can be seen everywhere and all amenities provided were of 5 star quality. Although expensive, the restaurant was good and the staff were very nice and helpful. Wish we could have stayed a few days more. The bathroom was quite spacious and included a big shower and a bidet. also double sinks.
