Hotel Mar de Fisterra is set in Fisterra, at the end of Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route and less than 50 metres from Langosteira beach. We liked everything about this property. We arrived early to a very welcoming Sara at the front desk. She spoke English well enough to not only understand us but made an effort to communicate answers to questions we had. She let us check in early and leave our bags in a side room so we could explore the area. Sara gave us directions to lunch suggestions, sights, groceries, laundry and beach while also cleaning and getting ready for new guests. Upon our return to check in to our room we were excited to open the door and see the unbelievable view of the beach, mountains, ocean, etc. The room was clean, comfortable and full of amenities. We had a wonderful walk on the beach and saw the many sights including the evening walk out to the lighthouse (Sara gave us suggestions, taxi # if we wanted to use it) Breakfast the next morning was included. Perfect selection of everything you would want to start the day with Sara’s friendly personality serving things up. Highly recommend this place because of the staff, location, comfort, cleanliness, amenities, and the VIEW! Breathtaking!!! We have stayed in many, many places on our Camino from Porto to Santiago. Hotel Mar de Fisterra is definitely #1. Thank you! We will tell others and hopefully return ourselves. 👍❤️👣

Great hotel in Muxia, right in front of the beach. The sea view rooms offer an amazing view of the sunrise if you leave your curtains open. Staff were lovely and very helpful, they allowed me to extend my stay no problem and to be honest .. if i had a suitcase with me instead of a back pack i would have stayed longer. Breakfast was great and resturants are close to hand for lunch and dinner options, also supermarket and laundry very close by. Muxia is a beatiful little coastal port/village and a great place to use as a base to explore nearby areas, beaches, brooks, lighthouses

O Semaforo Hotel is part of the converted Finisterre Lighthouse, 3 km from Fisterra Town. It offers heated rooms with satellite TV. Seriously, what's not to love?! I'm still not quite sure how the stars aligned and I managed to book this room in peak season. I stayed in a small single room, but wouldn't have needed more space anyway. You can even see the sunrise from the window. The staff was very nice and attentive. The breakfast was amazing and the dinner options were great. After having a few glasses of wine and everyone departs, you feel quite lucky to be able to linger on the rocks before you make your way upstairs.

The location was great for exploring the Costa de la Muerte and the host and hostess were very welcoming and informative concerning the surrounding countryside. Parking was easy and the building was a beautiful old country house typical of the area. The bathroom was great and perfectly clean and the apartment was silent at night time.
Everything is perfect, the price location, sea view, clean, huge room, big bathroom. I would recommend it 100%.

My third stay at Alén do Mar, and I'll be back. Immaculate room. Excellent breakfast. Close access to the beach and the final pilgrim's approach to Finisterre/Fisterra (~3km away), but quiet and relaxed compared to the constant milling of tourists and pilgrims in Finisterre itself.

The view of the beach by the river inlet was beautiful and the food and service at the restaurant were excellent for breakfast and all meals.

For a Pilgrim, it's a piece of paradise; for families, opportunity for quality time! It's a beautiful place, with a unique energy! The accommodations are decorated with wonderful details and lots of love; excellent amenities. We tasted different dishes; the food is delicious!! And the kindness of the owners is incredible. A few meters away, and forming part of this complex, there is a swimming pool. For those who prefer the sea, just walk around the Ria, populated by herons, seagulls and ducks, until you reach the beautiful beach of Lires. On clear nights, the possibility of observing an incredible sky... The Path of the Stars. It stayed in the heart. A true country poem, sprinkled with sea air. We will be back with the family!
