Lovely location on vineyard. Views are amazing from room and restaurant. Breakfast was good. Lovely room with balcony overlooking vineyards is unique. Enjoyed meal and wine in the restaurant, service was excellent as was the food. Reception staff were very hospitable and helpful. Liked the grounds and winery area in general. Good location on main road giving quick access to local areas.

This is a wonderfully rustic little hotel and restaurant, with an exceptional menu of local produce, cooked exceptionally well. The stunning Hotel Marqués de Riscal, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Elciego, is located in Elciego, in La Rioja’s Álava province. The room had a nice view on a small vineyard and the distant hills. Breakfast was delicious with eggs Benedict, fruit, cold cuts, cheese and croissants. The traditional restaurant was great for lunch. The wine tour was fascinating. The building of course is spectacular. Well worth the splurge.
