He helped us organise our trips in Aswan and to Abu Simbel which were really well priced and provided with great customer service. Breakfast was plentiful and lovely. Other meals were fabulous and one night we got to experience a Nubian party which was so much fun and made our stay even more memorable. Cannot recommend enough!

Kendaka Nubian House er 2 stjörnu gististaður í Aswan, 19 km frá Aga Khan-grafhýsinu. Boðið er upp á verönd, veitingastað og bar. Most beautiful guest house I have ever stayed in! Loved taking naps on the boat outside with all the comfy pillows! The highlight of Kendaka was the food! I stayed there for 3 days and gained 3Kg! I ate so much! The staff are amazing, warm and welcoming. I will definitely be back and highly recommend!

Located in the Nubian Desert on the banks of the Nile, opposite Elephantine Island, Sofitel Legend Old Cataract offers elegant rooms and suites. It features outdoor and indoor pools. We were very excited to stay at the hotel given its impressive history. We were blown away by how beautiful it is. You feel like you have stepped back into the Victorian-era with the archaeologists and famous guests who have stayed at the hotel. You can also tour Agatha Christie's / Winston Churchill's rooms for free (if they are not occupied by guests). Our room was spacious, clean, modern, comfortable and beautifully furnished. The room was cleaned daily and the staff always ensured we had plenty of water. The hotel has stunning views of the Nile and Elephantine Island from basically anywhere on the property. Since it's located right on the Nile, we found it very easy to hop on to a felucca or boat to take us around. There are plenty of taxis around on the road-side of the hotel too. There is also an ATM on site, which is helpful. There is a very helpful concierge on site to help arrange tours if needed. We enjoyed delicious dinners at all of the restaurants at the hotel, including the stunning 1902 restaurant. Breakfast was also fantastic - diverse and plentiful. The kitchen can also make you lunch boxes to take away with you on your daily adventures. We toasted our days exploring Aswan at the gorgeous bar. The service from each staff member we encountered was just outstanding - everyone was warm, friendly, attentive, helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. We enjoyed watching the sunset while swimming in the pool, and we even managed to fit in some exercise at the modern and well-equipped gym. We ended up having to stay an extra night because a sandstorm prevented us from catching our flight to Cairo - the staff were so helpful and even upgraded our room for free. We highly recommend this hotel and cannot wait to return!

New Abusimble 2 Hotel & Restaurant er staðsett í Abu Simbel, 2,3 km frá Abu Simbel-hofunum og býður upp á loftkæld herbergi. The staff and owner were extremely welcoming. The hotel is new and very comfortable, and I loved our room.

The staff was really helpful and kind, we arrived 22 hours late, they upgraded our room to deluxe for free. The breakfast was very good nubian food and more than enough. They served it even in the afternoon if we couldn't get it in the morning because we left early morning to Abu Simbel. I can recommend to those who are visiting Aswan and want to experience the nubian hospitality.

Firstly the property is very big and well decorated with awesome view of the lake Naseer.Secondly the staff were very welcoming and give you a home like feeling as we got lucky to have a upgradation of the room from suite to a mini flat with various complimentary addons.Lastly the location is very close to the Abu Simbel temple and the lake as well.I would like to mention the name of the Reception manager Hany for his cordial behavior and other staff like Basma.All over it was a very pleasant stay and would like to recommend others to visit The Lagoon resort to have wonderful time. The 3 hour journey from aswan to abu simbel through the desert road was also once in a lifetime experience.
