We had an amazing time at Weingut Gehlen-Cornelius. It exceeded our expectations in terms of the room, breakfast, vineyard and wine. We could not have asked for a better stay and will be coming back!

Boasting a fitness centre, shared lounge, terrace and free WiFi, Strandhaus an der Mosel is set in Valwig, 4.8 km from Cochem Castle and 33 km from Castle Eltz. This hotel is extremely clean and well maintained. Everywhere smells really nice. The hosts are the most lovely and helpful people. They were always thoughtful about our needs but never invasive. It's suprisingly big since It's a redone house. You get your own key and can come and go as you like. There are about 25 rooms with a shared lounge where you can grab snacks and drinks and just write what you took on a bit of paper. There is no fridge or coffeemaker in the room itself, but we didn't miss it. The shared coffee maker is excellent and prices are cheap. Nearby are at least two good restaurants (next door and Frisch Fritz) at walking distance. Plenty of free parking around. It's the perfect location to visit everything in the area. Breakfast is fabulous and from 8.30 till 10. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

Egy családi tulajdonú kis szálloda a Mosel folyó keleti partján közel a hídhoz, ahol legalább részlegesen belátható a Reichburg is. A szoba és a fürdőszoba praktikusan berendezett és nagyon tiszta volt. A reggeli választékos volt, beleértve a melegételt is. A személyzet nagyon barátságos volt, a becsekkolás gyorsan megtörtént, a kicsekkoláskor pedig a csomagmegőrzést is készségesen megoldották a végleges távozásomig. This hotel was very nice. The restaurant attached was very nice also. They had a great bar and lounge area. Nice little town to walk around in. The breakfast was standard and just ok. Although they did provide Secco and Wine.

Terrific value for location and amenities the hotel offers. Good amount of free parking, some covered but also cheap public parking opposite. The hotel is very clean and there's a formal restaurant as well as a more casual bar with cheaper options. My room was overlooking the vineyards and was lovely. Fridge/mini bar, BBC news channel, good sized bathroom with good pressure hot shower. Large wardrobe and safe. Breakfast was excellent, very pleasant staff. A good hot and cold selection. The pool is small but adequate for children or cooling off. The sauna area is lovely with bio and Finnish Sauna. There's large supermarket about 10 minutes drive and small one just a few buildings away. Lots of places to eat nearby.

We booked a suite since we were only staying the one night. The suite was very cozy and comfortable with an amazing view. We thoroughly enjoyed the spa and the variety of saunas. We are light eaters so breakfast was perfect with enough options to fill our needs. We enjoyed the hotel and will definitely return again.
