Help from local staff at the debarkment to get to hotel and help to book excursions.

We had breakfast and dinner service and it was very good. The tour guides were very professional. We were thoughtful because of how hard it is to bring stuff to this little place and how good they did it.

Located in Tortuguero, 400 metres from Tortuguero Beach, Tuanis Guest House provides air-conditioned rooms and a terrace. Close proximity to everything. Clean, comfortable, and friendly. We took the night to through Tuanis with Bernie and I highly recommend it. We say everything and more. I would definitely stay here again.

What a lovely host, we felt very welcome! Marcia and her family are the most warm-hearted and helpful hosts we’ve had so far. Also, it was great that we were welcomed by a first contact person at the parking area - even before taking the boat from La Pavona. While waiting for the boat we got the first information regarding available tours and other helpful recommendations for our stay.

I can highly recommend taking the guided tours with Edil and Arturo who are very knowledgeable about the sea turtles and the jungle.

Offering a year-round outdoor pool, Los Amigos Jungle Hotel is situated in Tortuguero in the Limon Region, Located 50 mtrs behind Liceo barra de Tortuguero. We loved our stay in that hotel! Especially the staff and the guides were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and have everything you need. The hotel is directly located next to the jungle which is really cool. Warmly recommendend if you are looking for a perfect stay in Tortuguero.

Great location. Very close to the beach and national park. Short walk to town. Hammocks to rest in outside. Quiet at night. I could hear the sound of the waves. Ask for a map of the town because at first it’s a little confusing. I think mostly locals stay here. No AC but it wasn’t needed. My room had 3 beds and a fan for each bed. The proprietor used an app to translate his Spanish into English for me. I was very pleased with this place.

Super clean room and very well located just a couple of minutes walk from Tortuguero main square. The staff was suoer friend and the check in process easy and quick.
