Located 14 km from Arenal Volcano National Park, Lomas del Volcan offers lush gardens, an outdoor pool and a hot tub. Each air-conditioned cabin has free Wi-Fi and flat-screen cable TV. the location, the views, the cabin are very confortable, service perfect and food at restaurant was excellent.

Hotel se nahaja 10 min vožnje od narodnega parka z vulkanom Arenal in središča mesta La Fortuna. The pools, the huge breakfast, the restaurant with multiple choices, sushi were great! the environnement, the birds and flowers, the pool bar, the spa the staff. Everything was great!

This was one of our favourite places to stay in Costa Rica. The breakfast was delicious and so fresh, the family who runs the business were so friendly and kind, and the rooms were so relaxing and comfortable. It is 20 mins from La Fortuna which didn’t both us as it was nice and quiet and we had our own car. The hot tub on the deck was one of our favourite parts to enjoy each evening and the bed was so comfortable. The pictures look outdated as the room was very modern. Also very clean. Highly highly recommend this place!!

The room was clean and very comfortable. The view: phenomenal. We loved the location as well, as we felt removed from much of the tourism, in our own little private sanctuary.

Beautiful grounds, room, and restaurant. All you can drink cappuccinos. Great food. Very nice pool and jacuzzi.

An oasis of relaxation, very large rooms with jaccuzi and large bathroom overlooking the vegetation. An unforgettable experience where we savored every moment. The fitness room, the trail, the restaurants, everything is sublime.

Offering an outdoor pool and spa centre, Finca Luna Nueva Lodge is set in Fortuna in the Alajuela Region, 26 km from Monteverde. We stayed at Finca Nueva for 2 days. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! ROOM: Apparently we booked the best room (the Dome) that I highly recommend. It wasn’t more expensive than other rooms. It’s basically a huge bungalow with its own secluded garden. The room was huge and the interior was very unique. Very clean and cozy. There was a little kitchenette outside the bungalow with a tea pot/coffee maker/fridge with complimentary home brewed kombucha and homemade herbal tea. PROPERTY: this was what amazed as the most. This eco-friendly hotel is located on a few acres of rainforest. Their property included: a farm and a garden where they grow veggies, herbs, fruits, cocoa beans, tea, coffee, ginger, vanilla beans and DOZENS of other species if plants and beautiful flowers, a bamboo tower, a pool and a few MILES of trails through the rainforest that are perfectly maintained. They also offer tours like chocolate, coffee, animals/birds-watching tour that are highly rated but unfortunately they were fully booked so we couldn’t go. Also, they had an amazing yoga pavilion right next to our bungalow that we used a lot. During our stay we saw a sloth, agouties, toucans, parrots on the property. FOOD: Farm to table. They don’t have a set menu. Every day they decide what seasonal food they’ll serve based on what’s growing on their farm. They also prioritize buying from local farmers. Literally everything is homegrown, homemade and tastes delicious: bread, milk, kefir, butter, tea, chocolate… During our stay both breakfast and dinner were buffet style. Most delicious and healthy meals we’ve had in Costa Rica!

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Tifakara Boutique Hotel is located just outside Arenal Volcano National Park in Fortuna where you can enjoy stunning volcanic views. Perfect location just outside of La Fortuna - beautiful environment with private and quiet units surrounded by exquisitely manicured jungle gardens abundant with birds, monkeys and squirrels. Efficient and helpful reception, super friendly staff. The living unit was beautiful with all amenities and comforts as expected - outdoor shower a great surprise. Reception, restaurant and outdoor pool areas designed to be one with nature - perfect view of the volcano included. The breakfast menu is a highlight , take your time while observing the local great curassows enjoying their breakfast as well! Fortuna waterfall within walking distance, on the way back stop for a coffee at the local dog rescue centre. Regarding other off-site activities we went zip-lining, Arenal nature reserve walk, evening with meal at a hot spring facility, and a barber shop visit in Fortuna - according to my son, one of the best cuts he ever had!
